Week 5 Hockey

Hello Blog World,

In Scott Class we went to hockey, We were learning to have bent knees straight back. I was really excited to go hockey so I can go play some games. Well when we got there at the turf we started to play a game of hockey. I was surprise when Mr Bryan said " guys it is girls vs boys", and I was so excited to beat the boys. Waiting waiting, waiting for our first goal it took us like FOREVER to beat the boys. Well it was so much fun playing hockey. Maybe next time the girls will be better and beat the boys.

Week 4 Gymnastics

Hi Blog World,

Today Scott Class went to Gymnastics and our focus for today was rotation. first when we got there we did some stretches like the L shape. After that we played a warm up game of  " all of you are it". That was really fun game to warm us up, then Kane told us to go to that circuit then after that we change groups. What I learned was rotating and doing cart wheel.

Week 4 Hockey

Hello Blog World,

We went to go to Hockey, we normally do hockey at Wakikowhai Intermediate. The reason why we didn't do it there is because it was rainy and it was a bad weather, and we might get sick. Okay on to Hockey what we learned about hockey was to control the ball and the hockey stick, also to not get crashed and go as the same speed.  It was so fun because we got to do a competition, my favorite part of the race was going the same speed as them.

Week 3 Gymnastics

Kia Ora World, 

Today Scott Class we went to gymnastics, Last week our focus was Locomotion and today's focus was Landing. We learned how to land on our feet, also Kane gave us a circuit to start with. I started with a beat board to practice landing with my feet. It was fun doing the hand stand and Ciclia and Saunoa were really good doing the handstand. It was so fun having Kane with us.

Week 2 Chess

Kia Ora Blog World,

Yesterday we went to meet a exciting man named Ash. He was there because he was going to teach us how to play Chess with us. What I learned about chess was the characters, the special character was the Queen. 

Also I learned that chess was invented in India the 6th century, because there was a King who wanted to fight but he was too lazy to get up and fight but then he told his servant to invent a game for him to play instead of fighting, and that game was called Chess. These are the names of the pieces, KING, QUEEN, Knight, Rook, Bishop, Pawn.

Week 2 Gymnastics

Hello World, Today Scott Class went to Gymnastics again. We have been going to Gymnastics every Thursday's. We have learnt some new skills, our focus on Gymnastics last week was statics and today is Locomotion. Locomotion means Moving or movement. So today we have been learning some new skills. Week 2 Explain everthing

Hello World, In Scott Class we have been doing Explain Everything.  We were learning to use our 5 times table to work out our multiplication fact. We were doing maths with Explain Everything.
So first we had to choose one of our multiplication fact then we start working it our on our Explain Everything.It was fun using Explain Everything, also everyone in the world you should try our explain everything. Here is a

Week 2 Hockey

Toady in Scott class we went over to Waikowhai Intermediate to practice playing Hockey with Mr Bryan. In Scott class what we learned was to control our hockey stick. My favorite bit was when Roman came up and demonstrated us what we were supposed to do. 

It was really fun going to hockey and I think next time I will share some new tricks with you anytime.

Week 1 Spelling

Kia Ora World, In Scott Class we have been doing spelling this week.

Our spelling for this week is to choose one of our task on our presentation then do one of them, so here is a example of mine that I did that I chose. It is really fun to do those task so any of you guys all over the world at school you guys should do it.
